Apart from tools offered by Twitter itself, many 3rd party individuals, companies and organisations offer tools to help you control your Twitter experience.

Here is a short list of some of them:

FBPE Today

This tool will search for and display, as links, any users with the #FBPE tag in their bio, handle or display name. That way, one can keep track of users, who don't follow back or users that are following you but you are not following back. The links take you to their profile, so that you can deal with the issues.

TweetStats

With this tool, it is not necessary to authenticate. You can just type in any account handle and a number of statistics for that account will be displayed.

Fllwrs

After authentication, this tool will display followers lost and followers gained, in a list.

SumAll

This tool is not availalbe at time of writing this, so it is either discontinued or temporarily down.

Fascipedia

This tool, by Rainbows and Lollipops, lists a number of typical Fascist claims and techniques, so that one can be aware of how to deal with them.

Botometer

Are you in doubt as to whether an account is a real person, with genuine views, worth engaging with or a Bot or trolll? This tool will help with determining that. Do block all such accounts and NEVER engage with them.

Unfollow Spy

With this tool, one can manage one's audience, monitor and analyse, locate inactive or spam followers and, even, schedule tweets. Never forget to post that promotional tweet or special wish for a loved one again.
